Corn & Spinach Cream Cracker Snack
SERVES: 4(16 mos)
Ingredients:
- Sweet corn – 1 cup (100 g )
- Onions – 11/, tbsp. (20 g)
- Coriander leaves few
- Green chillies (chopped) ‘1, no. Milk – 1 cup (100 ml)
- Maida tsp.
- Butter – 2 tsp.
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Celery – 1 to 2 g
For spinach filling:
- Fresh spinach (palakHeaves (chopped) 1 bunch (100 g)
- Onions – 1’1, thsp.(20 g)
- Green chillies- (chopped) ½ no.
- Milk – 1 cup (100ml)
- Maida – 1tsp.
- Butter • 1 tsp.
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cream cracker biscuits – 16 nos
- Cooking cheese (grated) – 2’1 tbsp. (40 g)
- Tabasco sauce as required
Method:
- Heat the butter. Add the onions and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the corn, coriander leaves, green chillies, celery and salt and cook for 2 minutes.
- Mix the milk and maida to the above mixture and cook until the mixture becomes thick.
- Add salt and pepper as per the taste.
