Green Papaya Salad

Ingredients:

  • 3 cup grated green papaya
  • 1/2 cup chawli (cow pea / lobhia), 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, crushed
  • 1 tbsp tamarind (imli) pulp
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice salt to taste
  • 1 thinly sliced tomato
  • finely sliced 3 to 4 crushed green chillies
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)

Method:

  • Toss the all ingredients together.
  • Serve chilled.
  • Toss this salad at least an hour before serving so that all flavours blend.
